News to Note from October Province Meeting

As discussed at the October Province Meeting, a few items of importance to note:

  1. We have secured a contract with Hebron Pines for GNEW XXXVIII for July 9-12 2026. We are accepting bids for this cornerstone event through Nov. 30, 2025.
  2. Malagentia reviewed a draft bid to host Eastern Kingdom Rapier Champs in Winter 2026 and voted unanimously to approve said bid.
  3. We will have an online budget planning session Nov. 13, with details to follow. Budget requests for 2026 should be made at this meeting. The budget will be presented at the December Province meeting and voted on at the January Province meeting.
  4. As a reminder, we are voting on all officer positions in December. Any members wishing to stand for election to an office is welcome to address the populace at the November meeting, where nominations will be accepted. Voting will be via email and is open to all paid members age 18+. All newly elected officers must show proof of membership prior to taking office.
