The Malagentia Budget Meeting will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, December 10 at my house in Portland.
If you have any budgetary requests, please contact me. Budgetary requests include, but are not limited to, event proposals, kitchen supplies, loaner gear, etc. By default, Great Northeastern War and Harvest Moon will be included in the budget.
With the exception of the events listed above, there is NO carryover from last year. If it was in the 2017 budget but was not spent, you’ll need to request it again to have it considered for next year’s budget. This includes officer budgets! Officers who do not submit specific requests will receive a default budget of $50.
If you have a budget request, whether for an event not listed above or for your particular office, please be prepared to have at least some basic description of what the funds will be used for. If you have a budget request and are unable to attend the meeting, please be sure someone who is attending will be able to be answer any questions that may come up.
All are invited to attend. The Malagentia Financial Committee is defined as the Seneschal, the Exchequer, and those Province members in attendance at this meeting. We will decide the 2018 budget at this meeting, and it will be voted on at the January Province Meeting. The January vote will be pass/fail – there is no line item veto.
